I am a qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon possessing the following qualifications, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Master of Surgery, Fellowship of College of Surgeons Edinburgh, Fellowship of Australasian College of Surgeons and have been working within Orthopaedic surgery for over 20 years. I began my Medical career in Sri Lanka, and I moved to Australia in 1998.

I have been in Bendigo since 2006, and work as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at St John of God Hospital Bendigo, Bendigo Hospital, and Bendigo Day Surgery.
I also work within the Public hospital system as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Bendigo Hospital, Castlemaine Health, and Swan Hill District Hospital.

I perform replacement surgery on large joints: hip, knee, and shoulder. I also manage common orthopaedic problems such as long bone and hip fractures.
I perform arthroscopy surgery of shoulder and knee joint. Patient focused care, giving priority to patient’s interests and concerns.
I do not treat spinal injuries or back pain.
