Knee Arthroscopic Surgery

Knee arthroscopy is a common orthopaedic procedure carried out by a qualified surgeon for various knee conditions.

The most common reason for knee arthroscopy is management of damage to the structures of the knee joint such as meniscus tears, cruciate ligament tears, loose bodies, or articular cartilage flaps.

Knee arthroscopy is usually carried out under general anaesthesia and as a day procedure (you get admitted to the hospital on the same day and leave the hospital 2 to 3 hours after the procedure).
